Our story begins around Čertižne in north-eastern Slovakia. Wooded hills rise beyond the village, with meadows and sunny woodland edges between them. This is the home of Wildthyme wild thyme.
The Carpathians of eastern Slovakia
Čertižne lies in the Laborec Highlands near the Polish border. Beech woods, meadows and pastures form a countryside we love returning to.
Where a river begins
The River Laborec begins near the village. Small streams, green valleys and wooded slopes are a reminder that the beauty of this place lives in its quieter details.
Beside a protected landscape
The surrounding forests belong to the East Carpathians Protected Landscape Area. Beech woods, meadows, pastures and wetlands make up its rich mosaic. Respect for this countryside is part of our family brand’s story.

We gather our thyme by hand, dry it in the shade and pack it in small batches. We add no flavourings, colours or other herbs. Its character comes from the wild thyme itself.
Make room for a moment with nowhere to be. Just a warm cup and the fragrance of our Carpathian home.
